"Puro Gayardó” (pure coffee). This is the title of a show recorded live in one of the most traditional flamenco tablaos in the whole of Spain: Casa Patas. A show, which like a good coffee is loaded with strength and flavour.
Thanks to the mastery and genius of its protagonists- the dancers Mari Paz Lucenaand Miguel Téllez- the magic of flamenco becomes a reality in this recording in which guitarists Pepe Maya and Juan Serranoalso perform.
Dance, guitar and voice together take on the form of pure emotion which moves the audience and which in the format video/DVD crosses the frontier of live performance and enters our very homes.

Live show recorded at the Casa Patastablao, where the mystery of duende, the magic of flamenco and the charm of this art flow undisputably in a gripping show in which each one of its components displays his purity and power on stage.
Juan Andrés Mayais the visible leader of the flamenco line-up made up of two other young dancers: Iván Vargaswho aged only 17, has already distinguished himself as one of the most powerful artists of the moment thanks to the purity and pedigree he possesses; and Pepa Carrasco, a dancer to be reckoned with, sure of herself, uncomplicated and vibrant both on and off stage.
Such a genius of flamenco dance as Juan Andrés could not but be a member of any other family but the most flamenco dynasty of the Mayas. To speak of Maya is to speak of artistry, bravura, brightness, darkness and above all, flamenco dance and depth of feeling. But always creating a school of followers and a unique personal style.
This show, recorded live on one of the most important stages of Madrid, Casa Patas, would not have been possible without the guitar playing of Camarón de Pitita and Basilio García, the voices of Jhony Cortésand Leo Triviño, percussion from Antonio "El Salvaje”and David Moreiraon violin.

"Suena Flamenco” live show recorded at the tablaoCasa Patas, it is a modern fusion of the flamenco of yesterday and today
The anthology of flamenco is represented in its purest state in this work where flamenco dance, song and guitar are the protagonists in different flamenco styles. The result is a flamenco ensemble- cuadro- which combines deep flamenco roots with a contemporary, ‘of the moment’ feeling.
Suroma is made up of three young dancers, three distinct personalities, three unique ways of feeling this art which are displayed in each of the solo numbers, resulting in a unique spectacle filled with flexibility, strength and rhythmic synchronicity. Sense and sensibility unite perfectly in each member of Suroma, who seek simplicity without precluding the vanguard.
